Kids Can Make a Huge Mess At The SPEF Color Festival
The Indian traditional Holi Festival or Festival of Colors is a celebration of the arrival of spring and is celebrated by throwing colored powder upon your fellow man and then dousing them with water.
The concept of color festivals have been growing in popularity in the US and now we have one right here in Pasadena. On April 21st, the same day as the Podley Shred Event, South Pasadena Education Foundation will hold its own charity fundraiser
The colors are always bright and it ends up being a hilariously fun event for children of all ages. The colored powder is always non-toxic and is often just colored corn starch.
Date: April 21st, 2018
Time: 10am -3pm
Location: SPUSD District Office: 1020 El Centro St South Pasadena
Cost: $5.00 Entry Donation. Colored Powders additional at varying prices to fit all budgets.
My suggestion is to come by Podley to shred your old tax documents and then have some celebratory fun at Color Fest.
