By now you should have heard of the amazingly annual Craftsman Weekend held by my pals at Pasadena Heritage.

This whirlwind weekend spans three days and a laundry list of super cool events sure to appeal to history buffs, architecture fans and locals of all ages.

If you are not planning on purchasing tickets and attending, there is a free workshop that may be of particular interest to those looking into bridging history with modern energy efficiency.

DC-based ICF is a global energy consulting group and sponsor of this year's Pasadena Heritage Craftsman Weekend does government contract work for a wide range of Federal and local utilities including the City of Pasadena.

ICF and Pasadena Heritage will have a FREE Energy Efficiency Lecture on Saturday, October 28th at 3:00 PM and I can pretty much guarantee that covered topics will be significantly more advanced than just "You Should Caulk That".

Blending modern technologies while preserving the traditional elements of classic architecture is a hot topic and one that we all are concerned with as global citizens. If you can't attend all the amazing event s of Craftsman Weekend, this is one you should not miss.

For information about times, location and to get tickets simply reserve a FREE ticket at the Eventbrite page for Craftsman Weekend.  HERE . Click tickets and then scroll in the pop-up window to the Free Energy Efficient Lecture on Saturday (they are organized by date and time).
